Messages

Inspirometer’s messaging system is used for a variety of different things.

If you receive any kind of message, you will be notified with a red icon at the top of your screen:

Clicking the Messages tab will open a drop-down menu of the different types of messages.

Read on to learn about those types.

Comments

The ‘Comments’ tab of your messaging screen relays to you any comments left on your Tags by respondents, so long as they have also checked the box for requesting a reply from you.

You can adjust whether or not your Tags allow comments at all – see ‘Editing Tags’.

When you see a comment notification and click it, you will be able to see which tag the comment came from, when it was sent, and what the comment says.

In the image above, notice there is an option to ‘REPLY’ to this comment.
Not all comments can be replied to. In the Tag Settings menu you can toggle whether or not you want to allow respondents to request a reply or not.

Replies can be a good way of explaining something to the respondent, answering a question of theirs, or even just as a way to thank them for their feedback.
