Photocapture of meeting outputs

Virtual meetings have a big advantage over physical meetings in the area of documenting the outcomes.
It is easy in a virtual meeting to simply take copies of the annotated templates and whiteboards, and circulate them to the attendees (or post them on a shared drive).

Conversely, physical meeting outcomes are often in the form of flipchart sheets and wall displays, and these can be a real problem to gather and type up.
Fortunately, mobile technology has provided an answer to this problem since most mobile phones are now fitted with a camera. However if you are still taking straightforward photographs of your outputs, you may like to consider some of the new apps that are available.
My own current favourite is Camscanner which takes a photograph of the flipchart, finds the edges, adjusts the image so that it is square and fills the frame, renders it back to eliminate shadows and odd lighting effects, combines it in a set with other scans, and makes it part of a pdf which can be circulated.
However, I am sure Camscanner is not the only app to do this, and more recently I have noticed that my Evernote has adapted the way it captures images to incorporate some of this functionality. If you are aware of others that you would recommend, please add them below.
The purpose of this article is simply to make people aware of these tools and their timesaving nature in helping to ensure progress after the meeting.
