Quick Guide: Inspirometer made simple

This document is a cut down version of the advice you will find in the meeting effectiveness section of the help pages.

To quickly set up end of meeting feedback for a meeting you are creating, add meetings@inspirometer.com to the attendee list – it really is that simple!

To set up end of meeting feedback for an existing meeting in your calendar, simply right click it and forward it to meetings@inspirometer.com (if you are not the organiser, please gain their permission before you do this – results always go to the organiser’s account).

To set up in-meeting feedback on individual agenda items, do the above, but ensure that the agenda is included in the body of the meeting invite in a form that Inspirometer can read:

Objective: This is where you type the purpose your meeting – after it encounters the text string ‘Objective:’ Inspirometer captures everything to the end of the line.
Agenda:
#1 Our software looks for numbered items following the text ‘Agenda:’
#2 Each item must be on a separate numbered line
#3 Immediately preceded by the # symbol as the first character on that line
#4 The number must be followed by a space or tab, and then the title of the item
#4.1 Decimals are allowed in the numbering
Anything that does not follow this format is ignored.

Attendees at the meeting can download a free mobile app to engage with the feedback simply by going to the relevant App store, and searching Inspirometer. Alternatively, they can receive an email with a link inviting them to engage with the feedback via a webpage (this happens automatically).

REMEMBER TO TRY THIS OUT with friends or colleagues so you know how it will work before you expose yourself in a high-risk situation.

You can see the responses come in live from your own feedback page (and share them with your participants if appropriate) or you can log into your account to see further detail. To automate meeting feedback for your meetings (and to get a full statistical analysis of them) simply install the Outlook add-in.
